“Weebles wobble, but they don’t fall down,” is an advertising slogan for a toy manufactured by Hasbro. They have a weighted bottom so when they’re knocked over they just bounce back up. So maybe you’re asking what does that have to do with card making. Direct connection – not much. It’s just an explanation for why you haven’t seen much of me lately. Check out my recent Facebook post here and you’ll see why this little Weeble is slowly standing up again. And it feels so good!!
I have been card making again and I love the process! From picking out a design, choosing colors and embellishments, the finishing touches to the envelope (#nonakedenvelopes) and inside and the best part – mailing it! There are lots of family birthdays in February and Valentine’s Day so I’ve been busy. I used the Sweet Little Valentines Cards & More kit and made these 10 sweeties.
I’ll be using January’s Paper Pumpkin kit (Sending Hearts) to make more. I’ll post photos when I finish them.
In December I completely redid my “studio” (my craft room) and I took before and after photos to share with you. I’ll share the before and middle pictures with you in the next few days. I’m waiting on one last thing to come in and then I’ll post the after photos.
I am so thankful to be back and can’t wait to share the power of paper with you! I’d love input from you on what you’d like to see — fun folds, techniques, working with sketches, color coordination, etc.
Take care and stay well!
