About Me

While I love the convenience and immediacy of the internet, often times warmth and connections are missing. I’d like to tell you a little about myself in hopes that it will help you feel welcomed and valued when you visit this site.

I’ve been happily married since 1973 to my high school sweetheart. We have an only child – a son – now married to a young lady we love. They have blessed us with three beautiful grandchildren – two granddaughters and one grandson. Turns out it was true what everyone always told me; grandchildren are absolutely the BEST!!

My Stampin’ Up journey began in 2013 with a Pinterest post! I saw a project I liked, and I contacted (via the web) a local Demonstrator to order cardstock and the Scoring board. That was only the beginning! I fell in love with EVERYTHING and wanted it ALL. However, I always prefer to shop with a discount so within days I became a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I found out I didn’t have to ever hold a class or workshop, ever sell to anyone, and no one (not Stampin’ Up! nor my SU “Mama”) would ever pressure me to do any of those things.

What I didn’t know I’d find was wonderful friendships with my Stampin’ Up! sisters, teammates and customers. For the first three years or so, I was happy getting my products at a discount and enjoying early ordering privileges. Just for fun, I started a two-hour cardmaking class once a month at my church so I could meet other crafty people. That two-hour/once a month class turned into a day-long craft day once a month that averaged around 20 people. It was such a blessing and the friendships and sense of community begun have lasted.  I discovered what a joy it is watching someone who thinks they are not at all creative CREATE! Their joy is contagious, and I wanted more!

Join me in creating unique, personal cards and projects that you can use to bless someone you care about. Whether you’re new to card making or a pro, I’m here for you. My tagline is I teach the skills, you set the pace.
