My oldest granddaughter turned 14 recently and I wanted to make a special card for her. Her favorite color is green and she leans toward a more classic, clean look. Amazing Year stamp set, Texture Chic Designer Series paper and the Layering Diorama dies were just what I needed! The bouquet in the stamp set is a simple floral arrangement with a cute little “Enjoy your day!” sentiment which meant I could make the entire front of the card the focal point! I stamped it in Versamark and embossed it in gold.

I used the Layering Diorama dies, Texture Chic Designer paper and Soft Succulent cardstock (one of my favorite colors!) to make the card. The Texture Chic paper has gold highlights so it was just the right amount of bling. I used the second and the third Layering Diorama dies to make the frame to go around the bouquet and popped it up with dimensionals. The inside sentiment was perfect and the Deckled Rectangle dies added an extra look to the layers. I used “birthday wishes” on the envelope. Stampin’ Up! is offering several die sets that are not stamp-specific. For example, the Diorama Layering dies can be used for any occasion and with any stamp set. This set is so versatile.

This was a fun card to make and she LOVED it! She saves all of the cards I give her in a special box and that sums up why I do what I do.
