Pray for New Orleans

Yesterday’s “Happy New Year” post was scheduled late on December 31 to be posted on January 1. The news about the attack in New Orleans early on the first day of the new year makes that post seem irrelevant now. I live in Baton Rouge, LA – only about 80 miles on I-10 from New Orleans. I’ve walked the streets where the attack occurred. I have family and friends who live there. My heart hurts for those who woke up in the new year to learn that a loved one was no longer with them. Several of the identified deceased are from Baton Rouge. Many are still in the hospital. I’m struggling to understand this evil. Please pray for New Orleans. The repercussions will last forever.
